To ALL those Fishermen/women Goliath would like to have a word with you…
Goliath here. … Next time you leave a fishing lure behind, with three prong hooks, just think of who may have the misfortune of stepping on it…………… Think about it………. When I went up to MOMMY and shook my paw she saw something hanging off of my front paw. Lucky Mommy was quick to notice, and removed said hook! Back to Mommy. He was indeed lucky it was only caught in his fur. PLEASE be careful with your fishing equipment. The next dog or person may not be so lucky.
In case you do manage to get hooked… have wire cutters handy- cut the hook off and remove- DO NOT attempt to pull through the barb. YOU can cause major damage this way! I always carry a first aide kit- which I will now include a pair of wire cutters in. My first aide kit always has stuff that can be used for both canines and humans. For a list of items go to the page marked First Aide.
